How to Help

Donations are Appreciated

Rising River farm has a high overhead and much of our revenue is put directly back into the organization. We spend a tremendous amount annually on feed, hay, shavings, and veterinary expenses. Hoof care is provided by volunteer and saves us roughly $40,000 per year. We accept donations of all kinds and are able to offer tax deductions for said donations.

All cash donations are used 100% for the specified use (it does not go to administrative costs). We absolutely will accept donations labeled for a specific use: feed, hay, shavings, veterinary, or capital improvement. Donations of any size are helpful!

If you prefer to give the horses gifts, below are items we are always using or needing:

  • Bell Boots (size large)
  • Himalayan Salt Licks
  • Horse Treats
  • Peppermints
